SO good to be back in the UK! This past weekend kicked-off our adventures with an immediate immersion into all things British, mostly thanks to the Northern Men’s Convention in Manchester - talk of Cricket, Rugby, Tea time & North & South “ribbing” abounded….
When we first moved to the US we decided we needed a vehicle that could handle lots of miles, with lots of space. A vehicle ready to carry us forward to the countless adventures we planned to have on tour in the US. And so, our first purchase in our new home country was a Chevy Express Conversion Van.
Looking back, we could never have guessed how much time we would end up spending in our van. We never could have imagined the places we would get to see. In many ways, the 100,000 miles of Interstate we have traveled is a physical example of the crimson thread that weaves it’s way between every church, every brother and sister…
Nathan’s article for CCM Magazine’s April Issue is available to check-out!
Titled “Tracing The Crimson Thread”, Nathan introduces you to a beloved touring companion & reflects on the many miles of Interstate traveled as he follows the path between every church, every brother and sister visited on his journey home.

Take a look at CCM’s online magazine, page 15.
And we’ll be posting the full article here at Nathan’s blog next week!
I never feel as though I have done enough to prepare my heart for Easter.
Jesus’ death & resurrection seems too big and I am almost always unprepared as Easter arrives, because of how overwhelming it is.
In a world where it is becoming increasingly more popular to see Jesus’ death on the cross as merely an example for us to follow (which it is, but infinitely more as well), Jesus would have us see Him as the only cure, the only hope, the only source of healing.
I remember the first time I heard Andrew Peterson’s song “After the last tear falls”.
By the end of the song I had tears running down my cheeks. I was so moved by the lyrics, by the honest way Andrew sings about our present reality, and then gives us a glimpse of how completely altered it will be when God makes all things new.
Looking back at my former self, I obviously had no idea the tears I would weep during 2011 and the aching I would experience from loss and grief. My heart now resonates with “After the last tear falls” even more than it did all those years ago.
This weekend I guess it comes full circle, as I head out to do a couple of shows with Andrew Peterson.
