Blog: Christmas Music
Every year I look forward to this season of Advent. Traditionally, the church has used this time to prepare for the birth of God’s Son, as told in the Gospel narrative, and also to prepare for the time when He will come again.
As a result, I am a huge fan of Christmas music, especially as it focuses our hearts attention on the incredible gift of Christ’s birth.
Not too long ago I recorded a selection of some of my favorite Christmas songs, including a couple I had written, with the hope they would bring encouragement each Advent. I wanted with the music and the words to combine to set our hearts aflame with the incredible news: God is with us!
