Hey everyone, I wanted to thank all of you who were a part of the Sydney concert last weekend for coming along! The band and I had such an awesome time being able to play for you again, and we promise it won’t be too long before we head back Downunder.

I know we had your packed-in tight, in the steamy Sydney heat, but from the looks of your whistling and singing-along it was worth it. Next time we'll have water-cannon's on hand!

And a special thanks to those who sponsored children through Compassion Australia. We had 49 kids sponsored! This represents 49 lives that will now have a real hope for the future.

Melbourne Visit Full of Compassion

Last weekend Nathan headed to Melbourne & had the privilege of sharing at CrossCulture Church of Christ about child sponsorship through Compassion.

Along with the joy of being back with this church family, it was a huge encouragement to see 23 children released from poverty on the night!!

Thank you CrossCulture Church for being willing to learn about Compassion and responding so positively.

Off to NYC To Mix!

After four days of recording, this album of hymns is ready for some Ben Wisch mixing-magic! Nathan is heading to NYC, with tunes in hand, to work (and hang-out) with Ben in his Lower West Side studio.

Ben, along with mixing "A Look Inside", has worked on some awesome albums with artists Marc Cohen, Bebo Norman, Andrew Peterson & Caedmons Call, to list a few.

We're excited to be back mixing with Ben & can't wait to share some of the finished tunes with you soon...

Yes, that’s right… After quite a while “off”, enjoying time on the road, Nathan is taking his guitar and heading back into the studio. And this time there’s a twist!

It’s not his own material that he’ll be putting to disc, but a number of great hymns that deserve some more airtime and a fresh new take. So, he’s stripping it back, giving you the best of what’s gone before us, in his very own acoustic style.

To make sure you don’t miss a thing, daily journals, pics & video snipits will be posted here from start to finish of this little project. In fact, a new Journal has already been posted, to give you Nathan’s own take on what lies ahead in the coming weeks.

2006 "ARTIST OF THE YEAR" & "SONG OF THE YEAR" HONORS!

We are excited to announce that Nathan has been named "2006 Artist of the Year" plus received the honour of "Song of the Year" for Like You Love Me.

Every year Australia's National Christian music chart, The Rock Across Australia (TRAA), collates the airplay on Australian Christian radio for both artists/groups and individual songs. And 2006 was Nathan's year for both accolades, making him the most played artist with the most played song on Australian radio!

TRAA reported that this is the third time that a solo performer has garnered both honours in the same year (Stacie Orrico in 2003, Michael W Smith in 2002), but 2006 is the first time an Australian has earned both honours in the same year!

This is a great way to cap-off an exciting year for Nathan, which included two #1 songs on radio, opening for Randy Stonehill, touring Nationally & headlining at AGMF 2006.

Anderson Guitar Endorsement

Those of you who went to Blackstump Festival this year you would have seen me playing my tunes on a new Anderson “Crowdster” acoustic guitar. This guitar was originally developed for David Crowder (David Crowder Band), and is a unique acoustic sounding instrument without the hassle of feedback at loud volumes - making it perfect for festivals.

The guys at Anderson kindly allowed me to be a Crowdster endorsee which is a huge blessing! This guitar is going to become a regular feature at my band shows, so we hope you like. And if you're so inclined, see for yourself what Anderson have on offer. They are fantastic guitar makers.

Nath moves to Nashville

It might be common knowledge, or it might not?
But Nath has flown North and set-up camp in Nashville TN! A minor detail we may have failed to mention.

For 2007 he will be playing and ministering in the States and plugging into a creative community of fellow artists to grow and learn.

Nath is really excited about the year ahead, which includes visiting with new church communities and sharing with brothers and sisters in another part of the world.

Be sure to keep connected via the internet & stay-up with his travels and stories through the Street Team.

After a few months of off-shore playing, Nathan is on his way 'home' for two months of touring during Nov/Dec - and we're excited to have the details and dates available for you!

Nathan (with the band in tow at times) will be heading to NSW, VIC, QLD and SA - playing various churches, youth events, schools and concerts.

Narrow hits #1 on the charts!

Nathan's 2nd single off the latest album, Must Be More, has taken the #1 placing this week on the TRAA Charts! "Narrow" has been waiting patiently while US Band Mercy Me enjoyed the top spot, but this week it's "Narrrow" turn.

This is Nathan's 3rd number one single, with "Floating" and "Like You Love Me" also enjoying success in recent months... A huge thank you to Christian Radio stations around Australia who have supported the single.

Hillsong Today T.V.

It was an early start and a little too cold for most normal people, but for a TV crew I'm guessing it's all in a day's work...

Tim and I headed out to the Hillsong Conference early friday morning to be "made-up" and prepped for the Hillsong Today TV program, where we played a few tunes and had a chat.

Hillsong Today runs throughout the conference, to both attendees and ACC TV viewers at home. So it was great to be inivited to play and be a part of the huge week that takes place out at Olympic Park.
